Reporting to the Simons Corporate Vice President of Human Resources, the Simons Human Resources Director is a member of the executive management team of the store.
Through your efforts, you will work to establish and maintain Simons as the leader in fashion and quality customer service throughout the location of the store.
As the Human Resources leader, you are in charge of all human resources functions and responsibilities throughout every area of the store. Some of the responsibilities include: recruiting the Simons profile for all positions, interviewing, hiring, training and development, benefits management, performance appraisals, coordination of special social events, ensuring the understanding and compliance to all Simons policies and procedures related to human resources. You work in close collaboration with the Store Operations Director, partnering with him/her to ensure that the performance of the store meets corporate objectives including both qualitative and quantitative objectives.
You play a crucial role in establishing and preserving the Simons working atmosphere that inspires courtesy, cooperation, respect and a love for fashion and helping others, clients and colleagues alike. You work faithfully with the management team in all departments to ensure their professional development regarding the Simons approach to human resources.

You have superior interpersonal abilities, remarkable discernment and strong analytical skills. You are an excellent communicator. You are very well organized, autonomous and have the consistent humility to self-evaluate. Your approach with people can be described as warm, courteous and professional. You are seeking to work in a fast paced and stimulating environment where quality and excellence are expected.
Two to five years of experience in human resource management in the field of fashion retailing is a significant asset.
A Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is required.
