The Manager Trainee (MT) role at Nine West is an opportunity for candidates with previous Floor Supervisor experience to progress their retail career toward a retail management position. The successful MT assists the store management team with the successful operation of the store, and demonstrates continuous improvement. Performance measures include achieving or surpassing sales goals, being a positive role model and assisting with the successful on-going training of staff to provide excellent customer service. 

Responsibilities:  

• Assist with shift focus on store and individual sales and productivity goals
• Provide guidance to staff and assist the store management team with achieving selling expense goals by monitoring shift productivity in the absence of a manager
• Ensure company standards are consistently demonstrated
• Address Customer Service concerns professionally and effectively
• Timely completion of all required reports and paperwork
• Loss prevention and Inventory control
• Health and Safety standards compliance
• Assist management team with merchandising store according to company guidelines
• Assist management team with timely execution of promotions and sales events
• Organization and maintenance of stockroom to standard on every shift
• Housekeeping standards are maintained

Job Requirements:
Candidates must have at least three (3) years of strong management experience in high-end, RTW apparel retail and a proven track record in controlling payroll costs and LP. In addition to being enthusiastic and hands-on, they should also have good communication skills and a positive attitude. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
